In Vietnam, Force Recon teams from both companies conducted some of the most dangerous reconnaissance patrols of the war. 2nd Force Recon has deployed to Desert Storm, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, maintaining its reputation as one of the elite reconnaissance units in the Department of Defense.
