On D-Day, the 2nd Ranger Battalion carried out what General Omar Bradley called "the most dangerous mission" of the entire invasion: scaling the sheer 100-foot cliffs of Pointe du Hoc under fire to destroy German artillery threatening both Utah and Omaha Beaches. Company C alone suffered a 57% casualty rate crossing the beach and climbing. Activated in 1943 and deactivated after WWII, the battalion's lineage was reactivated in 1974 as part of the modern 75th Ranger Regiment.Available in different sizes and colors.
