I believe every child can grow as a reader when they are given the right support, instruction, and encouragement. In my tutoring sessions, students work in small groups to strengthen their reading skills, including comprehension, vocabulary, and written responses (ECR/SCR). The focus is on helping students truly understand what they read—not just get through the text. Each session is structured and focused. I identify areas where students may be struggling and provide clear, step-by-step instruction so they can practice skills and apply them with confidence. Students learn how to break down grade-level texts, answer questions using evidence, and think critically about what they read. As their understanding improves, their confidence grows and reading becomes less overwhelming. This program is designed to help students become stronger, more confident readers who are prepared for the next grade level.
