Learn to craft your own luxury handbags in our 3-Day Bag Making Workshop, situated in the heart of London. Over the past 13 years, we've taught thousands of people how to make their own shoes in our highly acclaimed, 5-star rated shoemaking workshops. Today, we're expand our teaching into the realm of bag making. Specifically tailored for complete beginners, this workshop is designed to transform a passion into a tangible and valuable skill. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond teaching; we take pride in maintaining small class sizes, ensuring each participant receives personalised attention and dedicated one-on-one time with our expert instructor. Workshop Structure Our workshops run for 3 consecutive days from 10am to 4pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Please note that based on the complexity of the bag design you choose, you may be required complete some hand-stitching from home at the end of Day 1 or Day 2, in preparation for the next day. Day 1 On Day 1, you will select a design from our range of pre-developed bag making patterns, and choose from our selection of beautiful leathers. You will cut your pieces and begin to assemble your bag, whilst learn expert techniques used by luxury leathergoods brands. Day 2 You will mainly be hand-stitching on this day and your bag will really start to take shape! Day 3 Your handcrafted bag will continue take form as your skills progress. You will add the finishing touches to your work, and intricately paint your leather edges for a professional-looking finish. What bag will you make? Below is a list of bag styles we offer on our workshop. You'll have the chance to make one bag during this 3-day workshop. Although you will be able to choose from a wide range of leathers and colours, we are unable to accommodate changes or tweaks to our below designs or hardware. Can't find the date you're looking for? Our 3-day workshop is quite a fast-paced workshop. As we prepare each students' patterns, components and hardware in advance, we kindly ask that you choose a design from our selection above. At this time, we cannot accommodate design tweaks or changes during the workshop. Thanks so much for your understanding!Buuuut, you will be able to choose your leathers from our selection. π I am not a beginner bag maker. Is this workshop right for me? Our workshops are designed for total beginners. If you're an experienced or advanced bag maker, this workshop may not meet your requirements. It's best to reach out to us beforehand at [email protected] to discuss your expectations. Do you teach pattern cutting in the workshop? In our 3-day workshops, your bag patterns will be prepared for you ahead of time. You will be able to take your bag patterns with you at the end of the workshop. π I am vegan. Can I make a vegan bag? What is your refund policy? We have a strict no-refund policy on all of our in-person workshops. If you have booked onto one of our in-person workshops and would like to reschedule to a later date, you must give us a minimum of 2 weeks notice. We will accommodate a date change where possible. Please note that we are unable to reschedule your attendance if you give us less than 2 weeks notice. If for any reason you are unable to attend the entirety of the workshop you booked onto, we are unable to compensate you for any missed time or reschedule you to a later date.
