Our Microfibre pads comprise a layer of our German foam which acts to contour to the surface of your vehicle as you pass the polisher over the panel with the microfibre component sitting on top that layer. They come in 3", 5.2" and 6.2" or (76.2 /132.1 /157.5 mm) diameters to suit the 3", 5" and 6" backing pads respectively. We recommend applying minimal pressure and dialling the polisher speed to 3 as a start before you progress with higher speeds for effective cutting. What we love about the microfibre pads is its versatility. This enables it to be used for both cutting and polishing. One of its other advantage over polishing foam pads is the ability to remove fine swirls more effectively where the foam pad struggles to reach the embedded swirls unless done with multiple passes. The 3" pads are perfect for our 3" backing pads, made for our Grasshopper DA polisher.
