The Ramshorn Snail is very common in the aquarium hobby. Most ramshorn snails are captive-bred these days but can be found in the wild all over the globe, including the Americas, E urope, Asia, and Africa. They are very easy to breed and it is almost guaranteed that they will reproduce in your aquarium as they are extremely hardy and live in a vast variety of water parameters. Since they are extremely peaceful, this snail can be kept with any other non-aggressive tank mates, including small shrimp.
