DESCRIPTION This lightweight overcoat is of Swedish origin, produced by Ströms in Stockholm, sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. The colour is taupe — a shade that was typical for this kind of coat during that period. It is single-breasted and fastens with a total of four buttons, allowing it to be buttoned all the way up to the neck. It features vertical front pockets, and there is a buttonhole in the lapel to secure the collar when the wind picks up. The back is straight with a single vent. The interior is fully lined and includes one inner pocket on the right side, with a flap and button closure. The overall condition is good, although there is a tear near the bottom of the left sleeve. Please study the photos to form your own opinion of the condition.
