Regenerative design reimagines buildings as contributors to the environment—providing clean air, water, food, and habitats while reconnecting people with nature. In this session, David will explain the principles of regenerative design, such as systems thinking, bio-inspired design, environmental budgeting, and circular economy practices. Drawing on real-world examples like Google's Bay View campus and Schoonschip in Amsterdam, he’ll explore innovative technologies including algae walls and rooftop greenhouses.
