These hexagonal plain bases are designed for BattleTech and other games played on hex grids. Their regular six-sided shape tiles edge to edge without gaps and also suits models that need a geometric rather than circular footprint. The stated 30 mm size is measured from one flat edge to the opposite flat edge; corner to corner, the base is naturally a little wider. “Plain” identifies the flat, unslotted design with no raised lip. Each base is injection-moulded from matte black ABS, with a slightly inset top and an even texture that helps paint, adhesive and basing materials grip.
