Orbita's Artisan Series represents the pinnacle convergence of watch winder technology and style. These handmade wooden cases have each been designed by an internationally renowned artist using the traditional inlay technique known as "intarsia," where every piece in the final design is cut, shaped, and fitted by hand before being finished and laquered to form a beautiful and durable piece of art.These three-watch winders feature cabinets by Italian company Giglio in collaboration with Giuseppe Miniero. Meticulously selected and kiln-dried wood pieces join together seamlessly to replicate Salvadore Dali's surrealist painting "Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee" on a burlwood background. The cabinet houses three of Orbita's self-programmable Rotorwind mounts, which maintain virtually constant mainspring torque by entering a special oscillation mode every 10 minutes. The cabinet also contains storage space for additional watches or small personal items and jewelry.This model may be run off of AC (adapter included) or rechargeable 5 year lithium batteries.
