You can play sounds from an external MIDI sound source by hitting the MPX8's pads, or you can play the MPX8's sound samples from an external MIDI controller. ●Easy to edit The included MPX8 Sample Kit Editor (available for download) allows you to easily set parameters such as tuning, reverb, trigger type, level, pan, and MIDI note number on your computer before loading audio samples into the MPX8 itself, and convert them to a format compatible with the MPX8.
