The Royal Blue Overdrive (RBO) is an overdrive pedal with a wide range of tones, from light overdrive to distortion, and can also be used as a booster with an EQ when the distortion knob is set to minimum. It can also produce a hard-attack crunch sound reminiscent of a tube amp. By minimizing filtering, it achieves a transparent overdrive tone, and the tone can be further adjusted with both the Treble and Bass controls. Like a top-of-the-line boutique amplifier, the RBO allows you to freely control the amount of distortion by adjusting the guitar's volume knob and the strength of your picking. The RBO makes it possible to add incredible expressiveness to clean to slightly overdriven amplifier sounds. 【SPECIFICATIONS】 ■CONTROLS VOLUME: Adjusts the overall output level. DISTORTION: Controls a dynamic distortion response that is sensitive to the strength of your picking. TREBLE: This is a shelving-type equalizer that boosts/cuts the high end in the same frequency range as the amplifier's presence control. It can add sparkle to bright-toned amplifiers without interfering with the amplifier's treble boost. BASS: This shelving-type equalizer boosts/cuts the low end in the frequency range just above the resonance produced by a standard 4x12 cabinet. Increasing both the Bass and Treble knobs will produce a heavy sound with scooped mids. Lowering the knob settings will result in a softer mid-boost sound. ■SETTINGS For Midboost: Set the Treble and Bass controls all the way counterclockwise.
