The 360 Bearing Upper is a bearing-equipped upper spring seat. As the suspension strokes, a spring winds and unwinds, and that twist fights the damper instead of letting it work. The bearing lets the spring rotate freely, so the stroke is smoother, the spring feels softer, and ride quality improves. It also quiets the creak strut cars make when the steering is turned.
