The NovaTherm™ Press-Fitting system consists of a grooved nickel plated brass insert surrounded by a stainless steel sleeve. The high quality materials used in the manufacture of t he fitting should give any installer who uses a NovaTherm™ fitting confidence in their work. When the secure crimped connection is made, the Multi-Layer Pipe and the stainless steel sleeve of the fitting are crimped together over the grooved structure of the insert and its double O-Rings. This forms a long lasting, pressure resistant seal which is formed on the inside of the pipe rather than the outside.
