Handspun Hope is a 501c3 charitable group who support women in Rwanda pulling their families out of poverty with dignity. Humanely-sourced from home grown flocks of bunnies and she ep, this 50/50 blend is their most luxurious yarn yet! These rabbits receive the very best possible care. Their spacious custom-created cages are imported from the U.S. and they're provided with dry and safe shelter, high protein feed, fresh vegetable snacks twice a day and a 24-hour caregiver who resides with them. They are gently and carefully sheared every 90 days by a beloved staff member, a former barber. The wool from their own flocks of Merino sheep is triple washed before it is spun into yarn and then dyed organically in dye baths made by primarily Rwandan plants.
