Emute Labs is a new project that came out of the Experimental Music Technologies Lab at the University of Sussex in the UK. Taking music technology research from the group, and realising it in the form of hybrid digital/analogue musical instruments. The uSEQ is a truly unique eurorack module that builds on over a decade of research in live-coding. uSEQ is a flexible voltage generator that brings live-coding into your eurorack modular synthesiser. Fundamentally, uSEQ is an extremely flexible voltage generator and processor. It has a set of CV inputs and outputs that you configure in realtime with a simplified programming language specialised for music. uSEQ is great for sequencing, waveform generation, and waveform processing. You can use it as a live performance tool or configure it as a "set and forget" module for specific functions.
