Founded by Joel Burt and Eric Wareheim, Las Jaras seeks to create balanced, low-alcohol wines full of juicy food-friendliness and supple character. Sweet Berry Wine is Carignan and Zinfandel dominant blend rounded out with Charbono, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Old Vine Valdiguie. Fruit is hand-harvested and vinified separately, with ample amounts of whole clusters used. Post stainless steel fermentation, the wine ages in oak and is blended before bottling.
