Our Auris Glockenspiel is pentatonic with 7 tones made of brass alloy and a wooden body of maple wood. The tones are: d-e-g-a-b-d-e. It comes with two mallets, one wood and one with a rubber head. Choose the mallet according to the sound you desire. The brass tone blocks are coated with a fine layer of beeswax and nothing else. The beeswax creates a mild, natural gloss on the brass. It also allows you to restore the shining surface yourself when it gets darker over time. The wood part has a shellac priming and is finished with a beeswax polish. This gives a soft feeling and is easy to protect and preserve. This glockenspiel is approximately 6 1/4" by 4 1/2". Made in Sweden. Sure to make a musician's holiday brighter!
