The Lennox 34K80 is a high-performance 1/2 HP blower motor engineered for precision airflow in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This PSC motor operates at 208-230V and a nominal 825 RPM, delivering the low-speed, high-torque performance required for critical air handling applications. Designed with a 48-frame diameter and 3-speed versatility, it allows for fine-tuned system balancing. The CCWLE rotation and sleeve bearing design ensure quiet, reliable operation within the evaporator or furnace cabinet. As a genuine OEM replacement motor, it maintains the original equipment's airflow static pressure curves, preventing the common performance drops associated with generic substitutes. This motor is a direct Lennox 34K8001 replacement and is widely utilized in CB30M air handlers and similar Lennox-branded indoor units. Its robust construction and hub ring mounting facilitate a secure, vibration-free installation for veteran contractors. Key Benefits Optimized Airflow: The 825 RPM rating provides efficient cooling and heating air circulation while minimizing cabinet noise. Multi-Speed Flexibility: Featuring 3 distinct taps, this blower motor allows technicians to adjust CFM output based on ductwork static pressure. Direct OEM Fit: Ensures exact mechanical alignment and electrical compatibility with Lennox HVAC systems, reducing field modification time. Durable Construction: Built on a standard 48 frame with heavy-duty internal components for consistent performance in demanding thermal environments. Common Questions What is the correct capacitor for the Lennox 34K80 motor? This motor typically requires a 20 MFD / 370 VAC run capacitor (check the nameplate for specific verification before installation). Can I use this to replace a 1075 RPM motor? No, replacing a 1075 RPM motor with an 825 RPM motor will significantly reduce airflow and can lead to evaporator coil freezing or heat exchanger overheating. Always match the RPM rating. Is the rotation reversible on this unit? The Lennox 34K80 is designed with a specific CCWLE (Counter Clockwise Lead End) rotation. Confirm your blower wheel direction before ordering.
