Clyde F. Seavey Sr. This 1952 ink on paper monochromatic deconstructed figurative drawing is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1904-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts & Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly. He was also a member of the Artists Club, Artists & Art Directors Club, and Advertising Club all in San Francisco and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s. 1952 Ink on Paper 7"x9" framed, 3"x5" unframed Signed in the lower right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a rainbow inlaid veneer and black sides with a clear lacquer finish using archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
