This 1-1/2" MBT x 1-1/2" MPT adapter is used with compatible Sand Dollar filter systems where the plumbing connection needs to be restored or adapted. It is a practical replacement when an original adapter is cracked, worn, cross-threaded, or damaged during filter service.Correct fittings help maintain proper flow through the sand filter and reduce the risk of nuisance leaks at the equipment pad. Before ordering, compare the thread style, size, and filter model to the existing installation. Pair with the proper sealing method or gasket where applicable for a clean repair. Show more
