This Vintage Hand-Tinted Winter Forest Photograph is by Whiting, entitles 'SILVER GLADES, Nova Scotia', is a very large coloured B&W photograph. The photographer's style is very re miniscent of MacAskill, another photographer also from Nova Scotia. This is a rare winter scene, ever-so-lightly coloured onto the Black and White photo that it's almost unnoticed. The photo is mounted to a double embossed matte, pencil titled and signed. The frame is beautiful and ornate, but some finish is missing Dust cover is opened in several places.
