ergoCentric 360° Foot Platform (ERGOFP) The ergoCentric 360° Foot Platform (ERGOFP) is the only footrest that mounts directly to your chair's pneumatic gas cylinder — moving with the chair every time you adjust height, so your feet are always properly supported. Its full 360° swivel encourages the natural micro-movements that improve circulation, reduce leg fatigue, and promote active sitting throughout the workday. Recommended by Ask Ergo Works' certified ergonomic specialists for shorter users, sit-stand desk setups, and anyone whose chair lacks adequate foot support. Made in Canada by ergoCentric, backed by a 5-year warranty. ⚠️ Compatibility Note: The platform must be used with a 26″ nylon base and one of the following pneumatic lifts: 157mm, 200mm, or 267mm. The 360° Foot Platform is ideal for anyone whose feet don't comfortably reach the floor when seated at proper desk height, or who wants active sitting benefits from dynamic foot movement. It is especially beneficial for: Shorter users (under 5'6") who cannot reach the floor at proper desk height Sit-stand desk users who adjust chair height throughout the day Users experiencing leg numbness, swelling, or poor circulation from dangling feet Anyone seeking active sitting benefits without a floor-based footrest Workstations with limited floor space where a floor footrest is impractical Users who move their chair frequently and need foot support that moves with them How to Install the ERGOFP Confirm your chair has a 26″ nylon base and a compatible pneumatic lift (157mm, 200mm, or 267mm) Lower your chair to its lowest height position Open the mounting clamp and position it around the pneumatic gas cylinder Adjust the platform to your desired height on the cylinder (typically 6–8 inches from the floor) Tighten the clamp securely Test the swivel motion and readjust height if needed The platform can be repositioned at any time by loosening the clamp, adjusting, and retightening. No tools required. Frequently Asked Questions How is the 360° Foot Platform different from a floor-based footrest? The ERGOFP mounts directly to your chair's pneumatic gas cylinder, so it moves with the chair when you adjust height — always at the optimal position. A floor-based footrest stays fixed and must be repositioned manually. The ERGOFP also doesn't interfere with chair casters or floor movement. What chairs is the ERGOFP compatible with? The ERGOFP requires a 26″ nylon base and one of the following pneumatic lifts: 157mm, 200mm, or 267mm. It is designed for ergoCentric chairs but may work with other brands that meet these specifications. Contact our specialists if you need help confirming compatibility with your chair. Is the 360° Foot Platform good for shorter users whose feet don't reach the floor? Yes. The ERGOFP is specifically recommended for users under 5'6" who cannot comfortably reach the floor when seated at proper desk height. Dangling feet restrict circulation and cause poor posture — the ERGOFP provides stable, height-adjustable foot support that moves with the chair. What does the 360° swivel do? The full 360° swivel allows your feet to rotate naturally with leg position changes throughout the day. This encourages micro-movements that activate calf muscles, improve circulation, reduce leg restlessness, and prevent the stiffness associated with static footrests. Is the ERGOFP compatible with sit-stand desks? Yes. Because the ERGOFP attaches to the chair's pneumatic lift rather than the floor, it is ideal for sit-stand desk users who adjust chair height throughout the day. The platform automatically stays at the correct position relative to the chair. How much weight can the ERGOFP support? The ERGOFP has a 280 lb weight capacity, supported by heavy-duty steel construction and a durable powder-coat finish. How do I install the 360° Foot Platform? Installation takes 5–10 minutes and requires no tools. First confirm your chair has a 26″ nylon base and a compatible pneumatic lift (157mm, 200mm, or 267mm). Then lower your chair, clamp the platform onto the gas cylinder at your desired height, and tighten. The platform can be repositioned at any time. Does the ERGOFP work without shoes? Yes. The non-slip textured surface provides secure foot positioning with or without shoes, and gives tactile feedback that encourages natural swivel movement. What warranty does the ERGOFP come with? The ergoCentric 360° Foot Platform comes with a 5-year limited warranty. Where is the ERGOFP made? The ERGOFP is manufactured by ergoCentric in Canada, a trusted leader in ergonomic workplace solutions since 1990. Why Ask Ergo Works?
