Solid State Logic has launched SSL 360° V2.0, a major software update that enhances the workflow and functionality of its U-Series controllers (UF8, UF1, UC1) and SSL 12 / SSL 18 audio interfaces. This free update introduces deeper Pro Tools integration, including automatic track order and color syncing with the UC1, and fully synchronized track selection across UC1, UF8, and Pro Tools bringing a more fluid, console-style workflow to DAW environments. The update also introduces Hybrid Mode Pt.1, which bridges traditional DAW control and SSL’s Plug-in Mixer. Users can access automation, shortcuts, and FOCUS-mode plug-in control directly from UF8 and UF1. New Collapse & Pin features let users streamline multiple plug-in views, while Bus Compressor linking ensures UC1 selections follow track navigation which greatly enhances mixing speed and session navigation. Additionally, mouse scroll functionality is now supported throughout the Plug-in Mixer for even faster adjustments. For SSL 12 and SSL 18 users, V2.0 adds customizable monitor knob outputs, allowing flexible routing across analogue or digital outputs which is ideal for stereo or immersive setups. Their built-in low-latency mixers now support mouse scroll control, giving engineers precise tactile handling during tracking and monitoring. With SSL 360° V2.0, SSL continues to push hybrid production forward by seamlessly connecting software control and hands-on hardware.
