At the 2018 NAMM show, it took all of 30 seconds to tell our Collings rep we wanted the 2018 iteration of the 360 LT M Special Edition ASAP. We had to wait months and months, but the incredible instrument they sent us was well, well worth the wait. The Collings 360 LT M Special Edition is a limited run of special custom color finishes (with matching painted headstocks to boot!), custom metallic gold Collings headstock logos, and other unique special features. The 2018 360 LT M Special also spotlights the collaboration between Mastery bridge and Collings, and the result is a superior bridge and tremolo design and assembly. This Collings 360 LT M Special sports a gorgeous Aged Sherwood Green finish, which is beautifully accented by an anodized pickguard and matching anodized bridge and tailpiece. With two Lollar Jazzmaster pickups and clay dot fingerboard inlays, it's pretty obvious the vibe Collings is chasing with this model, but as we've come to expect from Collings, they push the time-honored template further than we could possibly imagine. This is a remarkably versatile instrument built with the unparalleled precision and attention only a top-tier boutique builder can provide.
