The Apollo x16D can integrate up to 16 E1X preamp units via Dante (subject to DSP resource availability), essentially turning the Apollo x16D into a scalable multi-channel recording solution. For larger sessions, the Apollo E1X provides a highly scalable solution. You can link up to 16 Apollo E1X units to a single Apollo x16D interface over Dante.
