The front control arm bushings on the E46 chassis are a common area of trouble, especially on Xi AWD models. Bushing failure can cause a number of ride quality problems, such as a shudder when braking or a clunking noise when you hit a bump.Turner Motorsport has developed bushings designed to upgrade your driving experience, while providing lasting quality for years to come. Turner bushings sport an 80A Durometer Polyurethane (about 30% stiffer than stock) for a comfortable street upgrade, without unnecessary stiffness and decreased ride quality. These bushings include specially designed internal features to retain grease for a quiet and low maintenance experience. The specially designed delrin insert also matches the OE profile of the control arm. This provides a smooth running surface for the poly, extending life and preventing noise.
