The 2014 Guidalberto is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, although the percentage of Merlot was reduced slightly in this vintage from 40% to 30%. Cabernet Sauvignon fared w ell during this difficult growing season, thanks to the advanced age of the vines and the hillside positioning of the vineyards. The Merlot was more problematic. This wine is the result of extreme fruit selection, nonetheless. Guidalberto is a medium-bodied red wine with a soft approach and bright berry flavors. Show more
