It features a lightly aged faded cherry finish over a beautifully figured maple top, a slim early-1960 neck profile, and period-correct hardware throughout. This example has been tastefully modified with a mix of vintage-style Patent Number T-Top and Monty’s PAF pickups, offering a blend of articulate clarity and classic low-mid growl. Produced as part of the Collector’s Choice series capturing specific vintage guitars down to minute details of wear and tone, the John Shanks 1960s replica is a standout among Gibson’s most collectible modern reissues.
