3D Printed Steel Construction Each 3DP MB iron is produced entirely through a 3D printing process using 316 stainless steel. This manufacturing method allows COBRA to move beyond the limitations of forging and casting, unlocking internal structures that simply aren’t possible through traditional techniques. The benefit is precise control over weight distribution, structure, and feel, delivered with consistency from head to head. Forgiving Muscle Back Blade Shape Developed with input from Tour players, including Max Homa, the blade shape has been carefully refined. A thinner topline, cleaner offset progression, and compact profile maintain the visual cues that better players expect. Internally, a complex lattice structure and strategically placed tungsten in the heel, toe, and hosel increase MOI while keeping the centre of gravity low and centred. This allows the iron to launch higher and remain more stable through impact than a traditional muscle back. Internal Lattice Structure At the core of the 3DP MB is an intricate internal lattice inspired by the KING MB shape. This structure reduces the head’s internal mass by approximately 33 per cent, freeing weight to be repositioned with precision. That discretionary weight is used to optimise CG placement, increase stability, and improve consistency without altering the blade’s external appearance. Soft Feel with Added Stability The internal lattice doesn’t just save weight. It also reinforces the face and topline structure, allowing acoustics to be tuned with accuracy. Impact sound is muted and controlled, translating directly into a softer, more satisfying feel. Even on slight mishits, the feedback remains composed rather than harsh. Tungsten Weighting Up to 55 grams of tungsten is positioned low in the heel, toe, and hosel. This weighting dramatically increases MOI for a blade-style iron, helping preserve ball speed and directional control while maintaining a compact footprint. The performance characteristics begin to approach those of a game-improvement iron, without compromising the precision and feedback skilled players demand. Each club is built by a single master builder and finished to tour-level tolerances before dispatch. The focus is on accuracy and consistency, so every club in the set matches the specification you ordered.
