The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2091 is approved by NIOSH and can be used in environments with oil and non-oil based particles. With 3M's Advanced Electret Media (AEM), this filter offers comfortable, lightweight, and easy-breathing protection against lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA. It can be used in concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces, or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. This filter effectively protects against a wide variety of oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants and is flame and water resistant. It is commonly used in industries such as welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, and soldering, as well as in agriculture, construction, general manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and primary metals.
