Attachment Double Sided Tape Black 1/4" X 20 Yds 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape is a black, double-coated acrylic plus tape designed forthe attachment of automotive exterior trim parts such as body side moldings and claddings. Designed for Long-lasting Performance Even to Challenging Automotive Substrates Developed specifically for attaching rigid exterior trim and other parts to automotive substrates, our 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1100 features a 1.14 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives — one for each side of the application. Liner-side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to scratch and mar-resistant paint systems. Non-liner-side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bond-line aesthetics under normal stress loads. Features a red, 3M™ branded, removable 2 mil thick liner with PE on one side, that allows for heat bond tabbing to the tape. Black color and low elongation properties improve the bond-line appearance of the attached part. Show more
