Monitor the overall vibration of equipment Measures vibrations from 0 to 25 RMS Requires a 24VDC power supply (FGD-0070) The vibration sensor comes with two threaded adapters allowing it to screw into either: (a) 1/4"-28 UNF threaded hole, min. depth 13mm or (b) M8 threaded hole, min. depth 10mm The Sensaphone Vibration Sensor will measure and provide real time vibration values to any Sensaphone that accepts a 4-20mA signal. When the vibration level falls outside of the Sensaphone’s programmed high or low limit, the user will receive an alarm which displays or reads the current vibration value. Vibration on industrial equipment can be continuously monitored for unusual operating conditions and potential failure. The vibration sensor is designed to be permanently mounted on industrial equipment and continuously monitor the changes in a machine's vibration level. Detecting these changes early on prevents machinery from catastrophic failure, secondary damage, and expensive down time. The sensor comes with a 5m cable and is available with an optional magnetic mounting base. A 24V DC power supply is required to power the sensor.
