The Lighthouse STEM Kit with Variable Resistor teaches students how to control brightness using a variable resistor (potentiometer) in a simple electric circuit. As they build a mo del lighthouse and wire the adjustable resistor, learners discover how changing resistance affects the flow of current and the intensity of the light. This hands-on kit introduces key STEM concepts such as Ohm’s Law, resistance, current, and practical electronics, helping students understand how real-world lighting systems work. It’s a brilliant way to combine creativity and circuitry—shining a light on how we control electricity every day! Battery not included. Show more
