It is chosen over other manual dry powder fire extinguishers when it is to be placed in unmanned locations that pose a fire risk or facilities with little manpower to oversee. Supplementary Protection NoticeThis unit is designed for localized, supplementary automated fire protection. It does not replace statutory fire sprinkler systems or mandatory hand-portable fire extinguishers required for commercial premises under Singapore Standard SS 578. InstallationThe automatic fire extinguisher should be installed directly adjacent and above the fire risk, with its discharge novel directed vertically downwards, and in a non-vibrating environment. How It WorksAutomatic fire extinguishers are fitted with a heat activation glass bulb sprinkler head. It is designed to break when the temperature hits 68 Degrees Celsius, where it will automatically release its seal to allow a full discharge of the dry powder onto the fire. ✅ Ideal For: Larger Server Rooms & Data Closets, Main Electrical Switch Rooms, Heavy Generator Enclosures, Engine Bays, Inverter Rooms, Flammable Material Stores, Unmanned Plant Rooms, Workshop Machinery Bays, and Marine Vessel Engine Spaces. Maintenance & Care Guidelines Visual Gauge Inspections: Routinely verify that the pressure gauge indicator remains steadily within the green operational zone. Bulb & Nozzle Maintenance: Keep the glass thermal bulb and discharge head free of heavy dust, paint, or grease build-up to maintain optimal thermal sensitivity and spray distribution. 4.5KG Automatic Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher Specifications Extinguishing Agent: AB Dry PowderPropellant: NitrogenClass A Coverage: 0.62m2Class B Coverage: 0.80m2Approx Discharge Time: 4 SecBody Diameter: 240 MMTotal Height: 330 MMApprox Total Weight: 6.7 KGBulb Temperature: 68 °C (Optional 57 / 79 / 93 / 144 °C)Working Pressure: 12 BARTest Pressure: 25 BARFire Rating: 8A : 10B
