Whether you've built your motor or just upgraded the turbo and want to risk higher boost to set some records, you're going to need new pressure sensors. The factory 2.0T boost and manifold pressure sensors are only rated up to 3-bar, meaning you're sensor limited in your tuning to running a maximum of 29psi. For most people, this number is more than high enough, and if we're honest, much above this without building your motor is definitely asking for trouble... but here we present a product designed for trouble-seekers These are Hyundai Genuine 4-bar sensors, allowing your ECU to read boost pressures up to 43psi. Once you've installed these, you've removed the restrictions of the factory sensors, and now your only limit is how much boost your turbo can make, and how lucky you feel regarding the health/longevity of your motor. The price is for 2 sensors, and they're genuine parts imported from Korea. NOTE: TUNING IS REQUIRED! You CAN NOT install these on your car and drive it around. If you're really lucky, the car will still start, and you'll be able to move it short distance, however if you attempt to get your car onto boost while running these sensors, you're essentially guaranteed that something catastrophic will happen. By installing a sensor that's 25% larger in capacity, you're also shifting all your ECU's pressure calculations by 25%. This means if you're tuned for 22psi, your car will be attempting to make 27psi, and if you already have a hybrid turbo and are tuned to 26psi, your ECU will be attempting to make 32psi from your turbo. While in theory this number alone doesn't guarantee engine failure, running 25% more air without the ECU knowing about it (or adding the fuel required to support it) is almost guaranteed to end you up with a bill for a replacement engine You have been warned!
