This handy 40 pin GPIO extender cable lets you put a bit of distance between your Raspberry Pi and your favourite HAT - useful for positioning sensors away from your Pi and for bui lding epic mounts! When using a GPIO extender it's important to connect the GPIO header on your Pi to the HAT the right way round to avoid damage to Pi and/or HAT. There's a white line down one side of the cable you can use to help keep track of where the power pins are. If you're unsure, you could use a multimeter to check the 5v pin is where you expect.
