Summary: AK Punch is a weedless soft swimbait for bass designed by Ken Akamatsu to deliver lipless-crankbait-style vibration deep in wood, weeds, and other heavy cover where hard baits usually snag. Its bulky, high-mass tail starts thumping immediately after splashdown, helping trigger quick reaction bites before fish can inspect it. Rigged on an offset hook, it works especially well with a nail weight inserted in the tail, producing a strong vibrating lift and an unpredictable backward-sliding fall that resembles a fleeing crawfish.
