From a NY designer, this is an exquisite jacquard brocade, a lighter weight suiting with a more crisp yet supple drape and a sophisticated evening look. The colors are earthtones, grays, silver metallic, black, and it has a burnished look that is rich and beautiful (PANTONE 19-0809, 16-1407...ish, etc.) and the design is woven in, not printed, with colors reversing on the opposite side. There's a 23" repeat to the design, and it's smooth, not textured.
