Tinal Wine This Is Not Another Lovely Criolla is made with organic Criolla Chica, Argentina’s name for the same grape we love from Chile (País), California (Mission), and the Canar y Islands (Listan Pietro). This a pretty and fruity light red reminiscent of the pipeño wines of Chile and Gamay wines of Beaujolais. 50% of the grapes see carbonic maceration to highlight the fruit and acidity and tamp down the tannins. Aging takes place in clay amphorae for 8 months. The result is chillable red with bright red berry and spice notes, hints of minty herbs, and soft supple tannins. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with no sulfur addition. *Natural and Organic Staff Review: A chillable red that on the nose gives floral aromas and on the palate red berries and a splash of spices.
