The JWO 40mm Spring Spacers are a great starting point! 100% Made in the USA by Jack Wagon Overlanding, these spring spacers add 40mm (1.57") of lift to your current ride height. The spacers are made of polyurethane and install above your current springs to give additional clearance for larger tires. We recommend these spacers to owners looking to get a feel for lifting their vehicle to the next level whether that be from stock ride height to 2 inches or 2 inches up to 4 inches. These spacers are a more affordable solution to getting to the next level. They work well for allowing taller tires to be run and in situations where mainly street use and light overland use is the focus. For true off road performance and the best functionality, adding appropriately sized springs is the best way to gain added lift. If these are being added with factory/stock ride height springs, these are all that is necessary to get the added 40mm (1.57") lift you are after. However, if you already have lifted springs and are adding these as well, you should strongly consider the other necessary suspension pieces that we use for 3-4 inch lift kits. These include appropriate shocks, caster correction, extended brakes lines, adjustable front and rear panhard bars, and possibly other items as well. Because these spacers install with the springs used on the vehicle, you can easily calculate the height that will be added to the G after install. However, this also means that if you have old or worn springs that are providing an uneven lift or bad ride quality, this will most likely still be the case unless the springs themselves are switched out. If you already have springs that are taller than the factory option, please take note of the overall lift you will be gaining versus the original ride height when adding these spring spacers. Although you may not need to add different springs, you should still consider adding the other necessary suspension components listed above to assure the G handles correctly.
