Da Vinci Series 418 Artist watercolour brush is generously sized and hand shaped, the unique point of the Russian Squirrel Quill allows for full strokes across the paper. The brush has a huge reservoir that lays down large amounts of water, ideal for wash and mop techniques. These fine brushes are particularly appreciated by watercolour painters, especially for glazing, priming and washing techniques (wet-on-wet), but also by porcelain painters, gilders and many more! Taking care of your brushes Squirrel hair brushes have an extraordinarily high storage capacity and impress with a particularly even colour release when painting. However, squirrel hair brushes are also velvety soft and sensitive. To assure longevity in your brushes, carefully wash brushes of all traces of paint and pigment at the end of every painting session. Due to the particularly fine natural hairs, Russian squirrel can break easily if the pigment is not washed out, especially at the height of the ferrules.
