Domaine Tessier Cheverny Rouge i s produced from a blend of 70% Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Côt from vines aged 15 to 40 years planted on siliceous clay soils in the Loire Valley. The estate, certified organic since 1998, spans 26 hectares across three communes near the châteaux of Cheverny and Chambord. The wine undergoes semi-carbonic maceration with whole cluster fermentation. Aging takes place for four months in stainless steel, wood, and concrete tanks.
