Vintage 1970s Japanese 'Dove' copy steel-string dreadnought from the Tokai factory with 3-Ply Spruce top, red-stain laminate mahogany neck (V-shaped), back and sides, and lovely, intricate features such as thick Dove-style design tortoiseshell pickguard, rosewood moustache bridge with pearloid dove inlays, rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoidal inlays, 3-stripe cream & black binding on the top and pixel-type design inlays on back & sides. Plays smooth and sounds light and sweet, with an even, balanced tone. The Bolero branding appears to be a precursor to the Cat's Eyes brand which manufactured Martin style guitars in Japan in the 70s and 80s. Includes original vintage hardcase. There are a few minor scuffs here & there, and the design on the pickguard is a bit smudged.
