Wonderfully fruit driven and expressive of the wild and rugged terrain of the northern Basque region of Navarra. Easy yet complex at the same moment, this is a lower-alcohol, fresh wine from a terroir of gravelly limestone soils in an ancient seabed. Itxas Harri (ee-chahs ah-ree) which roughly translates to “sea stone", is a project from Ignacio Ameztoi (of Ameztoi) and his long-time friend and winemaking partner, Iñaki Guelbenzu.
