A considerable difference in quality from the later models made by ESP, the Eclipse I's are not only for Hetfield collectors, but instead those who are after a precision-made, flagship model before reaching ESP Custom Shop dollars. An outstanding instrument and a very cool piece of history in Japanese guitar making. Includes original ESP Hardcase, with Gotoh locking machine heads. Some scuffs on the finish on the top (pictured). Missing pickup selector tip. The binding is starting to come away from the headstock near the G machine head slightly.
