This extremely high-quality wood carving tool is excellent for taking off large amounts of wood on the back of a bigger project. It is extremely sharp and thin making it a great to ol to work with harder woods and sharpen easily. The sharp blade has a flat end, but with a slight curve on one plane, making it useful when needing to take out a lot of material. Use this tool when smoothing out bowls or even larger spoons.
