The Kai Santos "KSD" Signature Model features a Double Diamond Bat Tail with 3 deep transitional channels that direct water flow to the longest points on the tail. In conjunction with a steadfast slightly parallel template, Kai is calling this the best board he has ever ridden. "It is just amazing how well this board holds a line and tracks and doesn't skip a beat...ever. It is just magic. It performs even better than what I envisioned when we set out on this design process and journey." Kai blended his bodyboarding experience and knowledge of water and wind flow as a skydiver and three time Handboard champion to create the a board that he will adamantly tell you, "lets you go where ever you want on the wave and do whatever you want." The KSD is carved out of premium Kinetic 1.8 lb core, reinforced with Tension Tech, an EGF Stringer, and a Surlyn Slick bottom. The 41" and 42"features a single stringer set up while the 43" and 44" are built with two stringers. Currently the 43" is coming in a limited edition Single Stringer layup.
