What a stunning wool blend doublecloth from Italy, a reversible beauty with tightly woven layers that are sewn together, so they can pull apart for easy hemming and edging. It's a substantial coating weight with lots of body to the drape, and the colors are just beautiful: red-violet, black and silvery light gray (PANTONE 19-3138, 14-4203, etc.). A lovely plaid on one side (the silvery yarns are boucle, which add a slight texture and dimension) and a violet and black twill on the other.
