It includes the clamps for the head and the base. To operate, simply clamp the base to your work piece or workbench, then clamp the head to the work piece. Next, position everything as you'd like it and twist the knob on the side of the arm. All 3 joints will go rigid and not move until you twist the knob back the other way.
